Auto File Transcriptions

ZipChart will auto file transcriptions when they are uploaded. The file will be attached to the patient chart, and a copy is sent to the physician's in box for review.

This can be accomplished even if your transcriptionist sends multiple transcriptions in each file. Transcriptionists love this feature because they can now simply keep typing the transcriptions for the entire day without stopping to begin a new file for each patient.

The ZipChart EMR software will read the complete transcription file, with multiple office notes for multiple patients, uploaded by the transcriptionist from their workplace. ZipChart then separates the file by individual patient (based on a few simple transcription requirements) and files the transcription in the correct chart automatically.

If you don't use a transcriptionist and instead use a note generating program or a voice recognition system, simply print these notes as a PDF, then attach them to the patient chart.
